Creative Director Deezie Brown reimagines Judith as more than a soundtrack—it’s an illustrated parable pressed to wax. The vinyl sleeve carries the surreal image of a figure draped in robes, crown of thorns resting on his brow, guiding a BMX bike across rolling green hills beneath a pink horizon. Behind him, a youthful rider in striped jersey and shorts clings on, their sneakers flashing red and black like sparks against the grass. It’s not just an image—it’s Judith’s story refracted through allegory.

This cover art captures the essence of Juliet Michelangelo—Judith—her duality of grace and struggle. On the court, she was divinity in motion, balancing the weight of expectation as if it were light as handlebars. Off the court, she leaned on others to carry her through—mentors, lovers, faith, and fleeting freedom rides. The childlike wonder of a bike ride contrasts with the heavy crown, suggesting her life was both playful and burdened.

Spinning the record is like following the ride: Side A glides through Judith’s rise, her disciplined rhythm echoing like spokes slicing air. Side B veers into the rawer terrain of her private life, where her relationship with Donovohn Fifth-William adds both momentum and turbulence. His fire, her balance—the ride was never steady, but it was unforgettable.

The vinyl itself is a mirror of the artwork: a pink-and-green marbled disc, carrying grooves that sound like wind whipping through hills. It plays like a short film, but feels like scripture—etched, cyclical, eternal.

“Judith: a ride between heaven and earth, love and loss, faith and freedom—spinning forever at 33⅓.”
